Deya & Ishan are one of those couples who capture your heart and imagination from the first moment you meet them.  As planners, it’s always fun to marry fun and interesting couples, it’s even more fun when you’ve known the groom for most of his life and are thrilled with the creative, dynamic and beautiful woman he chose to marry!

A film maker and a Transformative Tech Director Ishan & Deya brought to their wedding a unique approach to elegance and style. They blended the esthetic of their wedding venue, The Mountain Mermaid in Topanga Canyon, a former country club and speakeasy built in the 20’s with a nod to Freida Kahlo, touches of the peacocks found in the area and elegant floral and table top display.

Deya was glamorous in a dress by Rosa Clara with a vintage French Ivory Comb from Cannonball & Tilly. Ishan wore a bespoke suit made for him by Jason at Franc Milton in Beverly Hills with a peacock bow tie from Brackish.  

Flower crowns were made for guests by The Crown Collective and added a touch of fun and whimsy to the party! Performer / DJ Pete Goslow entertained the guests for cocktails and dinner and dancing sharing the microphone with friends of the couple for an eclectic music vibe.  After the last dance set the groom and his band played for the gathered guests as they lounged away the rest of the evening.
